Dropbox Boosts Free Storage to 5 GB, Keeping Up With Competitors

We all remember the days when Dropbox allowed us to utilize 2 GB of cloud storage on the Internet. Dropbox makes it so that it is much easier to access your files from anywhere. However, when Google Drive came out with their free cloud storage system, they allowed up to 5 GB of free storage. Today, it was announced that Dropbox would match its main competitor and upgrade its policy to 5 GB of free storage as well. This means that Dropbox will now match Google Drive, and other, less reliable and popular competitors, Box and SugarSync. With Google entering the cloud storage race, it is only a matter of time before Dropbox will end up having to keep up with a giant.
