Former Ku Klux Klan Leader Endorses New York Democrat

David Duke
I think it might not be good to have a white supremecist as your main endorsement in an election. You may just lose that election. So, I wish all the luck in the world to New York's 10th District Democratic Representative candidate Charles Barron. Barron was, earlier today, endorsed by former Ku Klux Klan leader David Duke. This is unnerving to many, including the Jewish Democrats of the district, who may just vote Republican in this election. More details on voting swings in that district will come out soon, but I must say that Barron must be the unluckiest candidate in the world. (for more information, click the link below)

Cuba's First Breath of Capitalism: Advertisements

Advertisements are pesky to many people when it comes to their function of interrupting television and radio programming. However, advertisements are required for the media industry to make it in a very competitive game. Cuba, who is amid reforming its economy into a free market, has just discovered and begun to utilize advertisements in their radio programming, television programming, and on billboards and in newspapers. For decades, former dictator Fidel Castro's communist philosophy economy kept advertisements defunct. Now, with a new economy and breath of life, Cuba has begun to see a radical change. Announcement of CNBC and Yahoo! Finance Alliance Leads to More Accurate Results

Yesterday, CNBC and Yahoo! announced an alliance between both services. Yahoo!'s function, Yahoo! Finance, has been the leading financial news source on the Internet for the last four years. CNBC is television's leading financial news source. Both of them coming together will create complete and utter domination of the financial news industry. Yahoo! Finance's journalists will contribute to the daily business reports simulcasted on CNBC, while CNBC's news reports will be prominently featured on Yahoo!'s website. This deal is a win-win situation for both electronic sources, and I do say that it is great to see because the TV and Internet are known to work so well together. Virginia To Become Swing State in Upcoming General Election

Mitt Romney
It has been reported by the USA Today that Virginia, a usually Republican state, will be a swing state in the upcoming general election between President Barack Obama and his challenger, Governor Mitt Romney. It is for this reason why Obama and Romney's campaigns both played numerous ads throughout the state of Virginia, rather than Ohio, which was thought to be the most influential swing state in the beginning. In Virginia, just 13 electoral votes are up for grab, but remember, it only takes 270 to win. (for more information, click the link below)

Senator Rand Paul Endorses Mitt Romney

Sen. Rand Paul of Kentucky
Many were surprised to hear that Senator Rand Paul, son of fellow Republican GOP Candidate Ron Paul, endorsed Mitt Romney recently. The endorsement kind of seems like a bit of a clothes-pin endorsement in favor of Romney over fellow presidential candidates, Obama (D) and Gary Johnson (Lib.). Rand Paul, during most of his endorsement, promoted his father as a well-respected candidate, and then at the end, stated he would be endorsing Romney. Why is this important? For one thing, some Ron Paul fans may end up helping out Romney. This will also keep peace at the convention from a Ron Paul fan attack, like what has taken place at some of the state conventions this year. In the end, I think this is just a way to tell the Paul fans to stand down. (for more information, click the link below)
