Yesterday, CNBC and Yahoo! announced an alliance between both services. Yahoo!'s function, Yahoo! Finance, has been the leading financial news source on the Internet for the last four years. CNBC is television's leading financial news source. Both of them coming together will create complete and utter domination of the financial news industry. Yahoo! Finance's journalists will contribute to the daily business reports simulcasted on CNBC, while CNBC's news reports will be prominently featured on Yahoo!'s website. This deal is a win-win situation for both electronic sources, and I do say that it is great to see because the TV and Internet are known to work so well together.
