Libertarian Party Gathers for "Fighting Chance" at White House?

When a third-party like the Libertarian Party is considered a contender to win President, one should probably be concerned about where their government is going. In Las Vegas, Nevada, the Libertarian Party is holding its convention to pick a presidential candidate, who ideally will capitalize on the Ron Paul supporters when he eventually drops out of the Republican race. With that kind of support and many people who are on the fence about Obama's spending during his first term and Romney's views on certain subjects, the Libertarian Party candidate could have a, scarily, fighting chance in this election.

600 delegates are attending the convention. The two candidates that seem to be the front runners toward the nomination are Former New Mexico Governor Gary Johnson and Air Force Veteran R. Lee Wrights from Virginia. Johnson, ideologically, is a closer fit to Republican candidate, Ron Paul's views on small government and cutting costs. It will be interesting to see of this third-party could shake it up in the upcoming general election. I will look forward to watching. (more information in the link below)
