This title probably caught eyes and awes, but it is true. Though many speculate and predict that Mitt Romney has practically secured the Republican GOP nomination for the upcoming general election to face Incumbent President Barack Obama, the two remaining other candidates, Ron Paul and Newt Gingrich, refuse to surrender just yet. Ron Paul, whose following is mostly run by libertarians, students, and supporters of smaller government, continues to campaign with conviction and is most likely attempting to gain enough delegates to influence the platform at the Republican National Convention later this year. Gingrich may end up following the same path as Paul. With his funds still solid, Gingrich continues to fight on as well, but states that winning the state of Delaware (primary happening today) is a key to his campaign's success. Gingrich also states that he may suspend his campaign if there is no victory in Delaware, but according to many sources, Gingrich suspending his campaign is just speculation. With Romney still going strong, I do not see Gingrich or Paul making it to the general election, but then again, anything can happen in the world of politics!
