The 2012 NFL Draft TONIGHT!

Starting tonight at 8 PM Eastern time on ESPN is the first round of the 2012 NFL Draft. As an avid fan of professional football, I can barely contain my excitement along with many other fans. We all predict Andrew Luck will be picked #1 overall by the Indianapolis Colts and Robert Griffin III will be picked #2 overall by the Washington Redskins (who traded a plethora of draft picks to move up four spots to draft him). Any other picks by these two teams would shock both fans of their respective teams and everyone in general. With #1 and #2 practically locked in, everyone wonders who the Minnesota Vikings will pick at #3. Could it be Matt Kalil, an offensive tackle from USC? Will it be Morris Claiborne, a cornerback from LSU? My assumption is that whatever happens with that #3 pick, it will shape the rest of the night's draft picks.

The greatest thing about the NFL Draft is that you do not know if some of these guys will be the best or will join the busts (The JaMarcus Russell Club). It is always interesting to see what roles this rookies will play next year and how they adapt to the NFL. It is certain that not all of the players drafted tonight will make an immediate impact. However, I would like to know what you think! There is a poll on the right side of the page asking, "Which 2012 NFL Draft pick do you think will make the biggest impact during his rookie season?" Please share your opinion! It is always best to hear what other fans think. I will be tuning in tonight and suggest you watch closely; history could be made...

  1. Ryan, quick tip for your blogs. Don't be afraid to type in the vernacular; you're being to technical and it's making your posts sound wordy. (technical as in breaking up contractions) Just remember less is more. Also, you keep grouping yourself in with everybody, you're an individual. "We all predict" should be "I predict," just so you have less possible disagreement with your readers. Just trying to help!

    1. Thanks! I appreciate the help! I am extremely new when it comes to blogging. Before I began blogging, I was specifically an article writer, which is probably why my writing is so formal. But I will take your advice and attempt to change up my style a bit. Thanks for commenting!
