Richard Dawson, who would surely make the Game Show Hall of Fame if there was one, died at 79 yesterday due to complications with esophageal cancer. Dawson was best known as the first and longest tenured host of the game show
Family Feud. His personality was golden and very down to earth, making contestants for quite comfortable around him. He also appeared on many other game shows, including as a regular panelist on
