Martin (left) and Zimmerman (right) |
A postmortem report released by the prosecution in Florida states that Trayvon Martin (17), who was shot dead during an alleged skirmish with George Zimmerman (28), had traces of marijuana in his system. Zimmerman's defense has stated time and time again that Martin provoked the fight and not Zimmerman. This can also be proved by the alleged abrasion on the fourth finger of his left hand. If convicted of second-degree murder, Zimmerman could face up to 25 years in prison. But to me, putting all racism aside, I feel that this is looking worse and worse for Martin and more like Martin provoked the incident. (more information on link below)
