Two big giants in the television industry have had issues in the past, but once again, like always, they have patched up their differences. Television giant Viacom Inc., owner of Paramount Studios and MTV, Nickelodeon, and Comedy Central settled a legal dispute with Time Warner Cable that will allow many people to view Viacom-owned television shows on streaming devices such as iPads. That's right! Jersey Shore fanatics can breathe a sigh of relief because they can now legally watch it on the go. In return, Time Warner will continue to host Viacom channel, CMT (Country Music Television). It sounds easy enough. Now, we will continue to wait for the next Viacom-Time Warner dispute. It is bound to happen; the television industry is a rough business. (source linked below)
