"Iran Containment" Bill Denied in House

The House of Representatives, today, rejected a bill that would apply a containment policy in regards to Iran, to prevent the acquiesce of nuclear weapons by the nation. With nuclear weapons, we know Iran would be terribly dangerous and it would only be a matter of time before they decided to test them out. So why would the House prevent such a bill from passing?

It is because they do not want to use containment as the strategy to finish this. Containment is a Cold War type strategy that was used on the fallen Soviet Union. It was the foreign policy used to prevent the spread of 'communism.' Never has it before ever been tested on real materials. We can contain political ideologies and economic policy, but not real equipment. A similar bill was proposed in the Senate to reject a similar containment policy. President Obama is in full support of the House, as he is for prevention and not containment. (more information at link below)
