George W. Bush Endorses Mitt Romney: Will This Do More Harm Than Good?

Today, former two-term Republican President George W. Bush (2001-2009) gave current Republican Presidential Candidate Mitt Romney his blessing. I cannot tell if this will do more harm than hurt. Bush was not exactly the most popular president, neither was he the smartest. Many people resented him by the end of his second term, hence being part of the reason why current Democratic President Barack Obama beat out Republican candidate John McCain in 2008. Over 80% of all Americans were against the War in Iraq by the end of 2009, so could we say that Bush's endorsement of Romney could possibly hurt him? I would say no. Though Bush was not the greatest of our presidents, he still has a shred of respect for his two terms in office amongst Republicans. Congratulations, Mr. Romney. Now you have two former presidents on your side. (for more info, link below)
