| Anthony Bourdain |
Renowned chef, Anthony Bourdain, was just chosen to host a new,
weekend program for the upcoming 2013 schedule. I found it a bit odd when I
heard this news (a chef hosting a show on a news channel), but his show will
focus on world cuisine and travel. Bourdain is best known for hosting various
shows for the Travel Channel, most notably Anthony
Bourdain: No Reservations. His expertise will most certainly add a diverse
element to CNN, who seems to be broadening its horizons with its upcoming
schedule. Bourdain’s television career has lasted over ten years as a commentator
and reporter of food and fine dining around the world. It is great to see a man
like Bourdain be able to do something he loves, and is passionate about, for so
long. I am sure CNN will put him center stage. Look to see major things from
this odd couple.
