Windows 7 Sales Through the Roof?

Anyone, who keeps up with the technology world very closely, knows that Microsoft will be coming out with new operating system, Windows 8, very soon. This is why it is quite surprising that Microsoft reported earlier today that Windows 7 sales have "spiked," posting a 6% increase in sales. With the extremely new look and very high amounts of curiosity to see the new Windows 8, positive trends in Windows 7 sales is a bit odd in many ways. Does this mean that technology consumers are not quite ready to move on? (Source below)
