Crude Oil Rises and Natural Gas Falls

We all know how expensive gas prices are getting in the United States. We are creeping are way to $4.00 a gallon once again. Well, according to a report by the NASDAQ, there is 52:1 price ratio in which 52 (1000 cubic feet) units of natural gas would cost equivalent to one barrel of crude oil. Natural gas prices dropped to $1.92 per unit, while crude oil rose to a hefty $102.70 per barrel. Why can't our cars run on natural gas???
