Cuba's First Breath of Capitalism: Advertisements

Advertisements are pesky to many people when it comes to their function of interrupting television and radio programming. However, advertisements are required for the media industry to make it in a very competitive game. Cuba, who is amid reforming its economy into a free market, has just discovered and begun to utilize advertisements in their radio programming, television programming, and on billboards and in newspapers. For decades, former dictator Fidel Castro's communist philosophy economy kept advertisements defunct. Now, with a new economy and breath of life, Cuba has begun to see a radical change.
